Did you know that Andar can keep a log of what pages are visited within e-Community? There are three levels of logging available in your system preferences' e-Business tab. Note that the new logging system preference defaults to "none" meaning no logging is taking place. Log entries can be seen on the individual accounts under the e-Business tab.

Live United

Helix has created a "Live United" style sheet that you can apply to your e-community websites. This style will eventually be incorporated into the core of the software. For now, if you wish to try this new look & feel, it will need to replace your current UserPreferences directory if you have one setup already.

New: Multi-Year Campaigns

Service pack 2008.03 contains support for multi-year campaigns such as endowment campaigns and capital campaigns. Your campaign accounts will have a "Multi-Year Campaign Control" section on the campaign tab to identify it as a multi-year campaign and to set the start and end year for your campaign. You will then be able to setup campaign structure goals and account goals for the overall campaign. Also, data mining will select and extract based on the total campaign "life". A new Multi-Year Campaign Report, similar to the Campaign Monitoring Report will allow you to monitor the progress of your multi-year campaigns.

Service pack 2008.03 contains support for multi-year gifts. Additional transaction types are being introduced to properly manage your General Ledger accounts for future year payments.

Loyal Contributors

Many of you want to store the year that donors first gave. This is best stored as a date under the attributes tab of the donor's account. To ensure that everyone codes this the same way, patch 2008.02.02 of Andar includes a new system-provided "Loyal Contributor" date type that everyone can use. The age has also been added to the table listing all dates so you can add it to your dashboards to quickly see the number of years the donor has been giving.
