e-Mail Quick Insert
Most of you know that you can create e-mail templates containing the text to be sent automatically by various functions in Andar. We have expanded templates to include "Quick Insert" templates. These templates can be inserted into an e-mail as you are composing it. Here's how. First you create a template containing some text, make sure you select "Quick Insert" for the template usage, and give it a short one word template description such as "test". Now, when you are composing an e-mail, as soon as you type the word "test" in the e-mail content, the test template will be automatically selected in the quick insert drop-down below. Press F3 and the word "test" will be replaced with the template content and template attachments will be added to your e-mail.

Imagine having Quick Insert templates containing the directions to your organization, or even setup templates containing answers to commonly asked questions. Then, when composing e-mails to constituents, just type the template description word, press F3, and the entire template is inserted.


Relationship Building
Do you want to get started quickly with CRM? It's actually easy. CRM is all about building relationships. Relationships start with communication. As you probably know, communication is not just about talking, it's actually more about listening. An important tool for listening is Andar's communication logs. This tool allows you to track what constituents said so that the next time you converse with them, you’ll "build" upon the last conversation (hence, relationship building).

Although it sounds easy, in reality it takes great discipline and commitment to enter your communication logs after each conversation. That's why consultants say that CRM is 50% people and 30% process.

New DMO Transpose Step
When using DMO to extract information about relationships, multiple rows are created, one for each relationship. With Service Pack 2010.03, you can use the “Transpose” step to put all of the related rows as additional columns.
