Most of you know that you can use Andar to send e-newsletters but did you know Andar can go further and also host your entire website? The same “article” concept used to construct your newsletters can also be used to build web pages. Andar’s Content Management does not require any knowledge of html and it’s quick and easy to use. Andar will track who reads what article and assign interest ratings to accounts. You can also target specific content to specific visitors.
The initial setup of Andar’s Content Management requires that you have your strategy planned out. This should be part of your overall marketing and communication plan. You need to decide how to organize your articles, what constituent segment will receive what banner ads, what interests you’re going to track, etc. Helix can assist you with your plan and get you started with your implementation. Once your site is in place, keeping it up-to-date and writing new articles is quick and very easy.

Andar is taking Content Management to the next level. Last January we released new functions to mass-generate thank you letters using Andar’s Content Management tools. As with newsletters and web pages, targeted articles can be included with each donor thank you letter based on the donor’s segment. The thank you letter is actually produced as a highly targeted and customized web page and then printed in full color. The biggest advantage is that the same tools are used for newsletters, web page design, e-Pledge, thank you letters, etc. That means only one system to learn. It’s one integrated marketing strategy that is multi-channeled and provides immediate feedback into your Andar CRM database.

We’ll be extending the thank you letter concept to receipts, statements, and general letters to prospects so that Andar will be your one-stop letter writing engine. We’re also greatly enhancing Andar’s “send e-mail” function for day-to-day correspondence. You’ll be able to get e-mail read confirmations live on your communication logs; you’ll be able to build more sophisticated e-mail templates with standard branding; and you’ll be able to quickly insert predefined paragraphs and attachments as you’re composing your messages. As with your e-newsletters, your day-to-day e-mails can also include a side-bar with highly targeted content based on the specific recipient in keeping with your marketing strategy.
We are also delivering multi-lingual e-Pledge! This coming August, you’ll be able to have e-pledge in any single-byte language including English, Spanish, French, etc. Asian characters will not be supported at this time. This project is sponsored by United Way/Centraide Ottawa.
