Service Pack 2010.01 includes a very significant change to run Andar as a background service on your server. This, combined with the CMC also running as a service, means that your server can now be logged off and Andar can automatically start as part of starting your server.
An added bonus is that you can monitor the processors from any desktop.

Many years ago we added a warning pop-up in Andar to alert you when your database has not been backed up for 8 or more days. This message must not be ignored. You really are not backed up! Your procedure may be backing up everything except your database. Contact your local computer service provider to configure the backup procedures for your systems.

MIG: We are enhancing the "Do not contact" information again in release 2010.01. This time, we are renaming the tab to "Contact Rules". We are also changing it into an Opt-in / Opt-out scenario. Additionally, we are breaking it down by months. These "rules" already support various types of communications. So, with this new design, you'll be able to say "Do not send newsletters in June and July and do send solicitations in March".

MIG: Release 2010.01... The ranking functions of Andar will be significantly enhanced to include an additional 20 or so metrics. These will include RUM dollars, number of giving years (including LC), number of relationships, number of communication entries, e-mail read/click statistics, volunteer information, events, touch points, web pages, etc. Furthermore, an additional column will be introduced to compute a quintile segmentation for each metric. Other custom segmentation algorithms will also be possible in the future.
